Among other achievements Giles won Bahrain League championship title in 2012 and 2016. He received also Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Player of the Year award back in 2010.
Giles represented Bahrain at the Asian Championships in Manila (Philippines) six years ago. His stats at that event were 2 games: 12.5ppg, 13.0rpg, 3.0bpg.
Giles is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in China (Shaanxi Xinda), Iraq (Duhok), Iran, Saudi Arabia, NBA G League (Sioux Falls Skyforce, Texas Legends and Westchester Knicks), Lebanon (Al Riyadi and Amchit) and Philippines (Smart Gilas).
Giles attended Oregon State until 2008 and it is his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
His game is described as:
Excellent physical attributes, starting with a 7'4" wingspan and an excellent frame which he has clearly worked on over the course of his college career. On defense, Giles has a rare combination of timing, athleticism, and length that makes him a potentially great shot-blocker.
